enable easy participant authentication …

Many employee engagement programs, and some channel partner incentive programs, benefit from a ‘single sign-on’ approach to username and password authentication.  Single sign-on enables participants to gain access to  system without using a different username or password.

Single sign-on offers significant benefits.  For participants, it can help reduce password fatigue from having to remember different usernames and passwords; which means that the loyalty/incentive program is likely to see more frequent use.  It can reduce IT costs, including program customer service costs, by generating a lower number of help desk calls about passwords.  And it can mitigate security risks, as user passwords are not stored nor managed externally.

Vanson has extensive experience in setting up and managing the single sign-on capabilities for our clients’ loyalty and incentive programs.   Participants can use the same username and password as their existing credentials.  Also, the program site can be designed to have the same look-and-feel as our clients’ corporate website, if desired.   Single sign-on requires technology integration with our clients to enable a rigorous, but participant-friendly, authentication mechanism.
